Day 29

We woke up in Eads, CO way earlier than we should have today. After going to bed at 4am (5am without the time change), after a 180-mile ride, we should not have been up until three days from now. But we got up and felt pretty good, considering. Our comrades left Eads northbound toward Colorado Springs/Boulder, but we left heading W/SW toward Pueblo, which we will go to/through tomorrow. It was nice to hang out a little more before we split up. We will definitely miss them. So after close to 60 miles, we’re in Sugar City, CO for the night. It is even more windy here than in KS. We had a great dinner tonight, barley with a variety of fresh organic vegetables. It was a relatively uneventful day. Now it’s time to catch up on that lost sleep! Sweet dreams from sugar city, T.
